Calif. Co. Seeks To Block Import Of Samsung Products

Law360, New York (November 18, 2008) -- Spansion LLC attacked Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. on two fronts Monday, accusing the South Korean technology giant of infringing six patents related to flash memory in federal court and asking the U.S. International Trade Commission to block the import of more than 100 million devices containing allegedly infringing Samsung products.

The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, accuses two of Samsung's electronics divisions, two of the company's semiconductor units and one of its telecommunications...
